Resellers can process .com and .net domains in real-time through the RWI via the "Place Order Manually" link.
Ordering is simple. Just complete the Registrants information as indicated. Save time by placing multiple orders under the same user profile.
Ordering a Domain Name:
In the Reseller Web Interface, click on "Place Order Manually" to place an order for a new domain.
From Registrant Profile - This option allows the Reseller to pre-populate all fields with contact info from a previously registered domain name. Simply enter the previous registered domain name along with the username and password for that domain.
Domain Information -Supply the new domain name and registration period (how many years would you like to register the domain name for). The auto renew function allows you to schedule the domain for auto renewal.
The lock domain function allows you to lock the domain when it is registered. Please note: This will prevent unauthorized registrar transfers and nameserver changes from occurring.
Registrant Profile
Previous Domain - This feature allows you to register a domain name and have it inserted into an existing profile. If you leave this field blank, the domain will be put into it's own profile.
Username and password information - This is used to set a username and password for the domain. However if you want to insert the new domain into an existing profile, you will need to fill out the username and password for the previously registered domain name as well as the "Previous Domain" field listed above.
Supporting Your Customers - .COM and .NET
ResellOne provides several self-support tools to decrease your customer support costs. Through the Administration section in the RWI, you have the functionality to provide customers with the login information for one of their domain names. You can also reset your Reseller password.
Sending a Customer Their Username
From the Domain Management Section, you will notice the "View Domain" query field. Enter the domain name and click the query button to view domain information.
Email Login Password
This gives you two ways to email the username and password to the end-user. One is emailed to the Admin Contact email address and the other is emailed to the Owner Contact email address. The Owner Contact email address is the Organization Contact's email address.
Change Domain Lock Settings
This option allows you to enable and disable locking on the domain.
Changing a Reseller Password
Profile Management Section
To change your reseller password visit the Profile Management Section and click on Modify Reseller Password. This will allow you to change your reseller password.
ResellOne provides Resellers with a customer management interface for that domain owners can use to modify contact, nameservers, permissions and additional domain attributes depending on the domain.
Registrants can login to the Manage Web Interface using the username and password selected at time of registration.

COM and .NET Updating Nameserver Information:
The Manage Nameserver link Controls which name servers are designated as authoritative for the domain. Registrants can also create nameservers based on their domain names here.
Please note that it takes between 24-48 hours for nameserver changes to be completed re-propagated.
Manage Interface
Manage Nameservers - The following screen allows you to update the nameserver's listed for the domain.
You can also create nameserver entries based upon the domain name. For example, if you have the domain hello.com you can create ns1.hello.com and ns2.hello.com.
Updating the Manage Profile:
Powerful functionality contain in the MWI, allows the Registrant to change the username and password that controls a domain name, typically to transfer control of the domain to someone else, move this name to another ResellOne profile, assign a sub-user access to manage either parts of or all information associated with the domain
Manage Profile Section
Change Password - Click on the change password link and then you will be asked to enter and confirm the new password. Then click "Change Now" to update the password for the domain you are logged in as.
Create/Manage a Sub-user - This function allows you to create or manage a sub-user for the domain. Sub-user can be given specific privileges to login to the Manage Interface and modify nameservers and contact information if they have the permission to do so.
Change Ownership of Domain - This allows you to move the domain out of an existing profile and into a new profile. This function is used if you are selling/moving a domain and don't want the new owner/user to have access to other domains in the profile. When the new owner/user logs into a domain that has been moved to it's own profile, they will have there own separate username and password to login.
